Zeb and Deb math presents the ‘Telling time to the hour’ slideshow and correlating worksheet. This is part one of four. This particular activity focuses in on clocks that have all twelve numbers on display.

Part 1 of 4: The students will practice telling time by looking at clocks that have all twelve numbers listed. Students can first watch the slideshow. Afterward, during seatwork time, they can complete the correlating worksheet.

In part 2 of 4, students will work with clocks that only have numbers listed on the quarter hour.

In part 3 of 4, students will work with clocks that have no numbers listed.

In part 4 of 4, students will work with digital clocks.

**Check for understanding with this Zeb and Deb Math worksheet**

Afterward, to check for understanding, give each student a copy of the worksheet called “Zeb and Deb Math: Telling time to the hour worksheet #1.” During their seatwork time, they should follow the directions on the worksheet and write in their answers.

In this worksheet, twelve clocks are pictured. The students should look at each clock in turn. Using their neatest handwriting, they should write down the correct time in the box provided below each of those twelve clocks. Please notice that the worksheet correlates with the slideshow.
