Keeping with one of the hottest trends for 2013–the 1920’s–Tocca is launching its latest Eau de Parfum, Liliana.
Don’t let the floral name fool you. Dainty lily it’s not (though Liliana does contain Muguet). Liliana blends the lushness of a rolling, green lawn with the sparkle of a party that’s just gotten into full swing. Think Gatsby. Think jazz. Think bubbly. Liliana captures that intoxicating feeling where anything can happen, and perhaps everything is not quite as innocent as it seems.
The fragrant notes of Tocca Liliana evolve completely in sync with how the most memorable soire should: an upbeat wave of anticipation as the evening gets under way and champagne-filled glasses begin to circulate, followed by flirtations setting in as the sun sets and all eyes turn to the dance floor, and ultimately ending in a more secluded and seductive embrace.
Sounds like a lot for an Eau de Parfum to pull off, and yet it’s exactly what’s created as Tocca Liliana’s top notes of fruity Italian Bergamot, Neroli and Watery Peach yield to its middle notes of Muguet, Gardenia and White Peony, and finally give way to the deeper, sensual notes of Sandalwood, Musk, Benzoin and Patchouli.
As with all Tocca fragrances, Liliana can be found at Sephora, Anthropologie at The Mall at Short Hills and Barney’s New York. Retail $68.
