Taylor Swift and actress Naomi Watts led the glamour Wednesday night at the People’s Choice Awards in gorgeous designer gowns as some of the biggest names in entertainment walked the red carpet.
Even though Swift seemed a bit sad after her recent break-up with “One Direction” boy band member Harry Styles, she definitely showed him what he will be missing. She wore a very elegant white full length Ralph Lauren Collection dress with a plunging neckline, simple turquoise earrings and a sweeping up-do.
After accepting her award for Best Country Artist it may have been a bit uncomfortable for Swift as she was played off the stage to Harry’s band One Direction’s “Live While We’re Young.”And that seems to be what Styles is doing since the break-up with Swift who was seen in London last night keeping company with a beautiful brunette.
Watts showed exactly how its done on the red carpet when she wore a breathtaking backless gold top and floor-length black skirt gown by designer Alexander McQueen with a stunning multicolored jeweled necklace. McQueen is known to be a favorite designer for Catherine the Princess of Cambridge and other British royals. She also carried with her a Jimmy Choo designer clutch and heels with accessories that included delicate gold earrings and slim bracelets.
The Australian actress is currently starring in the film The Impossible about the aftermath of a devastating tsunami that tears a family apart.
