A strong cold front will continue to push through the region this morning with colder and windy conditions returning and lake effect snow developing in western areas, possibly reaching into the Capital Region with some flurries and snow showers by tonight. A series of fast moving clipper systems will impact the region into next week with occasional bouts of snow showers.
- A High Wind Warning remains in effect for the entire region through 6 p.m. this evening. Strong westerly winds at 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 65 mph, especially over the higher terrain and Mohawk Valley, may bring down trees and limbs resulting in scattered to numerous power outages.
- A Flood Watch remains in effect for the entire region until 1 p.m. this afternoon.
