Grieving comes in so many shapes and forms and hits at the most unexpected times. Driving down the road and a song comes on that reminds you of what could have been or seeing a child the same exact age your child would have been. There are moments in time when the smell of baby powder or seeing diapers in someone’s grocery cart and thinking to yourself that should be me. Giving in and just letting the tears flow is what works best, having a good cry is sometimes just what we need. Finding friends, those who have lost and those who haven’t and still needing the support of both. So when grief hits, reach out and I hope others continue to reach out too, because we still need you.
