The star of ABC’s hit sitcom “Modern Family” and the highest paid actress on television, Sofia Vergara, got into a little fight on New Year’s Eve and her dress lost, resulting in a wardrobe malfunction. As TMZ reported exclusively (with photo) Thursday (Jan. 3), the Colombian actress’ black leather top couldn’t contain at least one of its charges.
Vergara was out with with her fiancé, actor and producer Nick Loeb, on New Year’s Eve, celebrating in Miami. The actress was wearing a two-toned gown of blue with a strapless black leather bodice.
While ringing in the new year at the nightclub Story, some pushing and shoving occurred at a table next to Vergara’s. She reportedly jumped in to break up a fight and was pushed to the floor. The sudden movement was more than her stiff-fronted bodice could take and someone with a camera captured the wardrobe malfunction.
TMZ reported that Vergara was not hurt but boyfriend Loeb suffered a few bruises as he struggled with the nightclub’s security.
According to the New York Post, sources said Loeb was thrown out of the nightclub after getting into an altercation with a nearby table. He and Vergara, who have had an on-and-off relationship, were seen arguing earlier in the evening and Loeb appeared tense as he and Vergara were hosted in the club’s VIP section by an ex of Vergara’s.
It is uncertain who won the fight but for guys — and gals — into wayward and exposed breasts, the photographer of Vergara’s momentary exposition is now undoubtedly a hero.
Vergara is rather nonchalant about her body, though, and posed for the Mexican version of GQ in a sheer top back in May. At the Emmys this past year, she even posted a photo of her own backside when her dress split backstage.
As for exposures, she wasn’t alone on New Year’s Eve. Jenni “Jwoww” Farley of “Jersey Shore” and “Snooki & Jwoww” exposed just a little more of her backside than she had planned when she bent over while hosting “MTV’s New Year’s Show.”
Still, it was most likely Anderson Cooper that was most embarrassed on Tuesday night when comic Kathy Griffin decided that his crotch was kissable. On live television during CNN’s broadcast of New Year’s Eve festivities in Times Square, the Emmy-winning newsman spent several moments crouching and avoiding Griffin’s bobs and feints toward his nether area.
You can normally see Sofia Vergara in less revealing moments on “Modern Family” weekly on Wednesday evenings. Jwoww Farley will return for a second season of “Snooki & Jwoww” on MTV this year. And Anderson Cooper can be seen being far less contortionistic weeknights on “Anderson Cooper 360” and for an occasional featured segment on CBS’ “60 Minutes.”
