Once again, Central Florida residents are anxiously awaiting this year’s Food and Wine Festival at Baldwin Park hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. On Saturday, March 2, 2013, New Broad Street will make room for more than 20 gourmet food and beverage vendors, all ready and eager to serve.
The ninth annual Food and Wine Festival at Baldwin Park’s crowd of over one thousand will be treated from 6-9 p.m. to delicious food, great wine, fun entertainment, and an event they won’t soon forget.
Time and time again, this premier event has been successful in carrying out the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission: funding research for a cure for cystic fibrosis, a chronic lung and digestive system disease affecting close to thirty thousand adults and children in the U.S. Needless to say, there is no more enjoyable way to help those in need than to party for their benefit!
Tasting stations housing many of Orlando’s top restaurants and finest food and drink will be cooking up and handing over their creations to guests who’ve been waiting all year long for this event’s return.
Upon arrival at the festival, guests will instantly receive a glass of wine and passage to all food and beverage stations, guaranteeing everyone the chance to find something that will tickle their fancy.
Participants this year include Jack’s Steakhouse, 4 Rivers Smokehouse, Tap Room at Dubsdread, Café Tu Tu Tango, Brio Tuscan Grille, Stonewood Grill & Tavern, Funky Monkey Wine Company, and many more.
New this year to the Food and Wine Festival at Baldwin Park will be a showing of artwork masterfully created by local artist Karen Harrod. The artwork will depict the continuing transformation and growth of Baldwin Park. Harrod will also have a live painting session at the festival based on suggestions from festival-goers.
Not only will guests get their fill of food and drink, but the festival will also provide excellent live music, an exclusive VIP Lounge, and the much anticipated silent auction.
For 2013’s auction, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Keller Williams at the Parks have collaborated to give guests a silent auction to remember. Over one hundred Keller Williams agents have spent their time finding one of a kind auction items for this year’s festival, providing guests a chance to bid on great items for a great cause.
Tickets for the 2013 Food and Wine Festival at Baldwin Park are currently on sale for $65 for general admission and $100 for VIP Lounge admission. VIP Lounge tickets admit guests to the festival’s VIP Lounge, as well as all festival activities.
General admission tickets will be $75 the day of the event. For more information and to purchase tickets to the festival, please visit Information & Ticket Sales or call (407) 339-2978.
