There’s always something crazy going on during the annual New Year’s Eve revelry nationwide and while co-host Jenny McCarthy was just plain obnoxious on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” the annual big star blowout with Ryan Seacrest — and, sadly, without Dick Clark himself for the first time — won the TV ratings war on Dec. 31. But there wasn’t anything too out-of-bounds on the show (which is most likely why they consistently win the ratings game year after year — more family friendly). However, on MTV, another reality show star, JWoww Farley, was letting a little too much hang out and Kim Kardashian didn’t let maternity get in the way of fashion and wearing something see-through in Vegas (but not on TV).
Huffington Post reported that former “Jersey Shore” personality, Jenny “JWoww” Farley, was the victim of a wardrobe malfunction. Photos of the designer/reality TV star prove that her dress was a bit too short to cover up all of her behind when she leaned forward a bit too much. The report noted JWoww had gone commando for the evening, but one NSFW photo seems to indicate otherwise. Still, the “Snooki & JWoww” star was no worse for wear, performing alongside her co-star, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, on “MTV’s Club New Year’s Eve 2013.”
Out in Las Vegas, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West celebrated New Year’s Eve at a party at the Mirage Hotel & Casino. So how does the expectant mother slash reality show star dress to show off her mama curves? The same way she always does, of course, in something dark and sheer. Huffington Post caught Kim and Kanye on the red carpet and inside during the festivities, but as sheer as the dress was, it strategically covered the voluptuous “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star in just the right places. (Nothing like her sheer skirt and black top that caused an Internet uproar last month. Perhaps so many wouldn’t have been outraged if she’d worn some strategic underwear…)
But wardrobe functions and see-through clothes aside, there are other ways to notch up the explicitness and/or the suggestiveness with actually being exposed. And leave it to comic Kathy Griffin, a reality show star in her own right (“Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List”), to do just that. Co-hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve show for the sixth consecutive year, Griffin had Anderson Cooper crouching and covering his private area for quite a while after she quickly leaned over and kissed him on the crotch. Referring to Cooper’s nether region as “Christmas presents,” the outrageous comedienne joked that she was preparing for “Letterman.”
But CNN need not worry. As comedians and Fox News commentators are quick to point out these days, nobody likely saw the hijinks anyway.
And has anyone else noticed that reality show stars seem to be everywhere these days? You could say they are a bit over-exposed… (sorry… okay… that might have been a little too far…)
