Need a Part-time Job? These are Some of the Best Paying
Let’s face it: financial times are tough. A lot of people are complaining about oversized debts and a lack of resources for paying them off. If you find yourself in the position of needing to make some extra cash, then the best way you have of doing that is to get a part time job.
Of course, you want to make your work count for as much as possible, and that means finding the highest compensation.
If you need a part-time job, then look into these best paying part time positions:
Wait staff. In addition to having the benefit of part-time scheduling flexibility, being a member of a restaurant’s wait staff can go a long way in getting you out of financial strain. If you can land a service position at a busy restaurant, then you can expect to make anywhere from $100 to $300 per full-night shift!
Landscapers. If you don’t mind being in the outdoors for an extended period of time, then you should inquire with local landscape architects about landscaper opportunities. Landscapers generally earn a higher than average salary, even on a part time basis.
Bartender. If you can manage to snag a job as a bartender (and that’s hard to do, considering bartending is such a competitive field), then you can expect to work two to three nights a week for full-time pay. Of course, some venues provide higher paying opportunities than others, but no matter where you work, you can expect to rake in some serious dough . . . which makes that bartending course worth paying for.
House painters. Anyone can tape-off and paint, and homeowners who hate the thought of doing it themselves seem to have no problem forking out the big bucks for someone else to do it. Search online classifieds for people who need their house painted, or call contractors and ask if they know of any available work.
Social media expert. If you are naturally into social media and seem to have a knack for staying abreast of the latest in social networking, then you might be able to land a position as a social media expert. Many businesses these days recognize the value of a strong social media presence and are opting to add part time social media experts to their payrolls. Inquire with local companies to find such positions, or offer your services on a freelance basis.
As you can see, there are plenty of opportunities to make a higher than average salary on a part time basis. You just need to know where to look. These suggestions should help get you on your way.
