According to Ign.com, the fans of “Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate” have spoken, and Capcom has answered them. The game will be receiving a major update approximately one month after release (in April) and will consist of two major components: the ability to team up with other players from other regions (North American and European players will be able to team up) and the ability to play the game entirely on the Wii U GamePad. The game will also be receiving free DLC in the form of new quests on a regular basis, the first of which will be available at launch. “Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate” is slated for release on Mar. 19 2013 and this major update will be approximately one month later.
“Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate” is a port of a game that was originally released on the Wii called “Monster Hunter Tri”. The player is tasked with defeating increasingly difficult monsters in order to help a small village survive. When the game originally released, it received high reviews and relatively high sales. The game, however, was considered by many to be somewhat difficult, which probably hurt its sales a bit. This new version expands on the original with new content, updated visuals, and better online capabilities.
