The Super Bowl is upon us. Each team has played their best, and in the end, the best of the best have been chosen. This Super Bowl Sunday, the two teams who will compete for the championship are the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. Not only will it be an exciting game to watch because of the experience and talent these two teams possess, but also because the head coach for each team are brothers!
As Americans gather around their wide-screen TVs this Sunday, a plethora of foods will be devoured. Is devoured a too strong of a word to use? Maybe so, but as the intensity of the game is at its peak, so will the intensity of the eating. The favorites to munch on are nachos, jalapeno poppers, fries and of course, wings. If you have the pleasure of hosting this year’s Super Bowl party, why not try a different style of wings? How about Korean-style wings? What? Korean-style wings? Yes! There is a new craze (well probably not so new to Koreans who have been eating this forever) going around throughout the city about Korean-style wings. The difference is that the chicken is very lightly battered and is double-fried; with the result of a very crispy texture. Some are even stuffed!
Sound delicious? Well, it is. Would you like to sample some? Come to Queens and visit the many establishments featuring Korean-style wings. You won’t be disappointed.
