Are you looking for an affordable way to get a great family photo? Then you’re in luck – this Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 you can head to the Yakima Area Arboretum, get a gorgeous photograph on a disk of your family, while also supporting a wonderful cause and local resident suffering from a super serious form of cancer.
Raise money for cancer research:
Local Yakima resident Lindsay Freeburg is battling a terrible form of cancer, called Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor, or GIST. It’s a very rare form of cancer, doesn’t have as much information or research behind it as many of the other types you often hear about, and the survival rates are disheartening. So, local photographer Amber Miller is helping raise money to support research for a cure to GIST by doing what she knows best – capturing amazing family moments in photography! She’s offering affordable family photos this weekend, with proceeds going to help cancer research. A great deal for you, and a great deal of help for those suffering from this cancer.
