On the boardwalk in Pier Village, Long Branch, Avenue Restaurant is offering a more than impressive menu just for this special day. Executive Chef Dominique Filoni is featuring an enticing four-course menu for only $42 per person. Some specialty items to look for ~ Chef Filoni’s delicious Chestnut Velouté. A savory dish that brings life to classic chestnuts, fusing onions, leeks, garlic, duck fat and smoky bacon in one enchanting bowl. Chocolate shavings add a final touch for the perfect Valentine sweet. Dauphin Grille in The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, Asbury Park, is doing a Valentine’s Day prix fixe for $60 per person, plus beverages, tax and gratuity. There is also a “Staycation” option for $199, plus beverage, tax and gratuity that includes dinner for two, a room at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel. David Burke Fromagerie personifies romantic dining and the menus are delicious. On Valentine’s Day a spectacular three-course prix-fixe dinner is being presented with a choice of David Burke specialty and signature items including: chilled lobster cocktail for two, pretzel-crusted crab cake, rack of lamb or roasted monkfish for two, braised short rib and cavatelli, surf and turf and sweet endings such as strawberry shortcake or red velvet layer cake.
