On Feb. 2, 2013, “Farmweek” gave livestock reports on poultry, pork and cattle. Corn and soybean reports were given as well. In addition, it was announced that Hattiesburg resident Penny Kochtitzky, was the national winner of the Friend of Conservation Award.
“Farmweek” is an agricultural TV show produced in Starkville, Miss. at Mississippi State University (MSU).
“Farmweek’s” time schedule is in the Central Time Zone. The show airs at 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays and at 6 a.m. on Mondays.
The show is also on RFD-TV (satellite and cable network), (DIRECTV, Channel 345 or DISH, Channel 231) at 5 p.m. on Fridays and at 3 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
