Epicuria on Thursday January 31, 2013: Enjoy 50 Zinfandels paired with delicious bites from Bay Area master chef’s at this dine-around event. Savor delicacies from the ZinKitchen celebrity chefs while learning their professional techniques. Flights on Friday February 1, 2013: Participate in a seminar-style tasting as you delve into the history, culture and science behind the many flavors of Zinfandel. Flights offers unique insight into the Zinfandel varietal and allows you to experience the true character of the wines through the eyes of experts as you revel in a sensory experience like no other. This event is SOLD OUT.
Winemaker Dinner on Friday February 1, 2013: Be transported to Casablanca at this VIP elegant reception and dinner. Journey back through time as you learn about the origins of America’s Heritage Wine and the modern-day practices that make Zinfandel so legendary. A live and silent auction features rare and one-of-a-kind lifestyle lots, with proceeds benefitting ZAP programming, education and Heritage Vineyard Projects.
Grand Tasting on Saturday February 2, 2013: Select from over 200 Zinfandel’s. New this year is the Regional Tasting Exhibition where you can easily compare Zinfandels from different growing regions. Watch cooking demonstrations in the Zin Kitchen and peruse wine related merchandise in the Marketplace.

Details: Most events are held at the Concourse at 8th and Brannan in San Francisco. The Grand Tasting is on Saturday February 2, 2013 from 1-5 pm for ZAP members and from 2-5 pm for the general public.
