When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills starts filming Season 4 in April, there may be a major cast shake-up that will rival “The Great Housewives Massacre.” While this time it will not be Bravo handing down the ax on half the cast, there may be as many as three housewives not returning and three new housewives (well two brand new and one semi-new) joining the cast.
Bravo reportedly intends to fire original Beverly Hills Real Housewife, Taylor Armstrong, whose life struggles including the suicide of her husband and her alleged drinking problem are reportedly too dark for Bravo’s liking. Bravo purportedly intends to let the controversial housewife go and she will not be asked to return for Season 4.
Another original Beverly Hills Housewife, Adrienne Maloof, may not be returning for Season 4. However, it will be her decision. Adrienne has reportedly told Bravo she will not be returning for Season 4. Given her recent feud with fellow Real Housewife, Brandi Glanville, as well as her messy divorce which was splashed across the tabloids, it is no surprise that Adrienne, who attempts to keep certain aspects of her live private is looking to leave the show.
The newest Real Housewife, Yolanda Foster, who is married to famed composer and producer. David Foster, may also not return for Season 4. Yolanda, who recently shared that she is battling Lyme disease may not be able to return to Season 4 due to health concerns.
Waiting in the wings to replace Taylor, Adrienne, and Yolanda if any or all of them depart the show are reportedly several women, some new faces and some old.
Faye Resnick has been a fixture on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since Season 1. Due to her good friendship with Kyle Richards, she has made occasional appearances on the show including her attendance at the infamous “Dinner Party from Hell.” Faye was recently added as an official cast member and rumors are that she will be promoted to an official Real Housewife for Season 4.
Penny Lancaster, the wife of Rod Stewart and stepmother to Adrienne’s boyfriend, is reportedly in talks to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 4. Penny was previously rumored to have joined The Real Housewives of Orange County, but that merely turned out to be a misunderstanding–she was seen filming with OC Housewife Alexis Bellino, but they were filming an interview not The Real Housewives. Penny certainly has celebrity status that would make her an interesting addition to the show, especially if Adrienne, who is dating Penny’s stepson, Sean, stays on.
Finally, former Extra host and Plastic Wives cast member, Dayna Devon, is reportedly a front runner to join Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Dayna, whose husband is a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, will certainly fit in and her role on Plastic Wives, which has been compared to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will prepare her for the reality show.
