Group of people riding through the park on scooters. One of them hits something. She falls on top of a skeleton. Booth tells Sweets that his ex-girlfriend Daisy is coming to work with Bones. Booth gets a call about the body. Bones says that the victim is a female in early 30s, possibly sexual assault. Bones discovers that there is two bodies in the grave.
At the lab, Cam asks Daisy if she’s ok with the possibility of Sweets coming. She said she’s fine, that she’s an emotional rock like Bones.
Sweets tells Booth that the bodies were arranged. Booth mentions a group home that Monica Craig, victim, went to that help with suicide.
Angie tells Bones who the victim is.
Sweets meets with Monica’s husband. Sweets asks for everyone who knew location of Monica’s grave. Sweets asks about the 2nd victim. He says she recognizes her as Rachel Knox. She was Monica’s death consultant.
Booth and Bones talk about death and their wills on the way to the home.
At the home, they interrupt a ceremony. The co-owner, Meriza, comes over to talk to them. He says that They tell Meriza that Rachel’s dead.
Meriza has a hard time dealing with the death. He says that he didn’t report her missing because she disappears all the time. He says he was ok with it because it helped the business. Says he doesn’t know who would want to hurt her.
Daisy tells Hodgins that her sternum was crushed and popped her heart. He asks her about Sweets. Says she’s devoted herself to work.
Angie tells Bones about the lawsuit Dr. Craig has against the home. Booth is looking into Rachel’s mental instability.
Booth tells Sweets about a man named Warren who filed a suit against Rachel three times. He thinks since he was unsuccessful he might try to kill her. He says that he wanted to take her own in court, no where else. He says that Rachel and Meriza were sleeping together.
Sweets drops by the lab and goes to see Daisy. They share an awkward conversation. Daisy doesn’t want to talk about it, but Sweets does.
Booth and Bones talk to Meriza about their relationship. He says the relationship ended 7 months ago and Bones says that’s when Rachel was killed. He says they had a tantra-sex relationship. He says he might have accidentally elbowed her in the elbow during their last session. He says they ended on good terms.
Daisy tells Cam doesn’t think that cancer is what killed Monica.
Angie and Hodgins tell Bones about what could have caused the damage done to Rachel’s sternum. It was a ancient cutting rock, used for a burial marker.
Booth and Bones talk to Meriza about the burial marker. He says that he carved the stone but he didn’t kill her. He is tired of them accusing them so he says he’s going to get a lawyer.
Cam visits Hodgins. He tells her about how he wants to die. She says she wants to get cremated. Hodgins says that the fat beatles have an eating disorder because they stop eating when they are full.
Sweets tells Booth that he thinks that Dr. Craig killed Monica. Sweets tries to talk to Booth about his conversation with Daisy. Booth tells him to forget about everything.
Sweets meets with Daisy at the diner for a cup of coffee. She tells him that she is seeing someone, on and off. Sweets says that he’s seeing someone too. He admits that he wanted to see her again to see if it was a mistake. Daisy says that it was a mistake, Sweets agrees.
Sweets meets with Dr. Craig. He says that Meriza was trying to rush things and Rachel took the time to help Monica.
Hodgins tells Cam and Daisy. He says they have toxic in them. He finds a presence of bath salts on Monica’s bones. They conclude that Monica might have been murdered too.
Bones asks if Booth can redo his will. She tells him about her burial. Booth gets upset because her last message consists of vultures and hammers.
Sweets meets with Dr. Craig. He asks about the bath salts. He says that Dr. Craig used to use methadone with his clients with depressions. He admits that Monica begged him to euthanize her. He says that he didn’t help her, but he didn’t stop her from killing herself. Sweets says that he’s free to go.
Sweets meets with Booth. He says that Dr. Craig had felt guilty because he gave her the bath salts and didn’t stop her. Booth says it doesn’t make sense with the call logs. He says there’s a pattern. The calls increased for three months then stopped two days before Monica killed herself.
Booth meets with Dr. Craig. He asks about the 405 calls he made to Rachel. Booth says that he had a relationship with Rachel and that Rachel told him to euthanize Monica. He admits to the affair. He says he got angry because of how she treated him after the affair ended.
Cam catches Daisy crying over Sweets. Cam says that it’s ok to feel sad but she needs to keep moving forward.
Booth records a video to Christine in case he dies and Bones watches. She runs and hugs him at the end of his video. She shows him her new will. She says she changed the nature of her funeral to him and Christine spreading her ashes over a volcano.
