Celebrity chef, restaurateur, television personality and grilling guru Bobby Flay will open his 14th Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP) at Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 4, 2013.
Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, a Caesars Entertainment Corporation company, is a full-service gaming destination and will include three outward facing restaurants. This new $400 million development is the fourth and final casino to open in Ohio. The casino complex is expected to attract an estimated six million annual visits to downtown as it supports existing businesses, nightlife and sports and cultural attractions.
BBP will be in good company at Horseshoe Casino, as Jack Binion’s Steak and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville are already in the works to open at Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati.
The 3,500 square foot BBP restaurant is located inside the casino, adjacent to the gaming floor, and seats about 90 people.
BBP will offer an assortment of burgers inspired by Bobby Flay’s travels around America as well as his love of the grill. The casual setting will feature 10 signature burgers, which include the Buffalo Style Burger with red hot sauce, blue cheese dressing and watercress; the Dallas Burger with spices, coleslaw, Monterey Jack cheese, BBQ sauce and pickles; and the Palace Classic Burger with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onions, in addition to “burger of the month” selections. All BBP burgers can be prepared with a choice of certified Angus beef, ground turkey or grilled chicken breast. The menu also offers a great selection of sandwiches, salads and sides.
Bobby Flay opened the first BBP on Long Island in 2008.
“At any time of year, my favorite thing to eat is a cheeseburger,” says Bobby. “And at BBP, I celebrate America’s variety of flavors, styles and cultures surrounding this classic staple, offering a selection of specialty burgers, served at a great price. I’m very excited to open the first BBP in the Midwest and be able to share this with the families and residents of Cincinnati.”
Flay is owner and executive chef of Mesa Grill, Bobby Flay Steak and Bar American restaurants, which are located across the United States. Flay has starred in many programs on Food Network and the Cooking Channel, as well as serving as Resident Chef and Lifestyle Correspondent for “The Early Show on CBS” and “CBS Sunday Morning.” He is a regular contributor on NBC’s “The Today Show.”
Bobby Flay currently stars in “Iron Chef America,” “Throwdown! With Bobby Flay,” “Bobby Flay’s Barbecue Addiction” and “Grill It!”
“I am very excited to welcome Chef Bobby Flay to Horseshoe Cincinnati,” said Kevin Kline, Senior Vice-President and General Manger for Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati. “Bobby’s BBP concept is a great complement to the distinctive venues that will make this a world-class destination in downtown Cincinnati.”
