Being Human, which aired January 28, 2013 on Syfy was a crazy episode one that ended on a “what just happened note.”
Sally is remorseful about Trent’s death and she is eating Josh out of house and home. She goes to the funeral home, and talks to Trent’s ghost to help him find his door, which she does, but what he walks into was not what he or Sally expected.
Aidan and Henry are on the hunt for clean blood but it is a losing battle as Henry ingests bad blood and is starting to die. Aidan asks Josh to screen for clean blood, but it is already too late for Henry.
Josh admits a young girl, Erin, who was attacked by a werewolf and he and Nora take her in as Nora helps her with the transition.
This episode was very interesting what with introducing a new werewolf into the fold, which seems to make Nora happy and Josh wary.
I feel so bad for Aidan who can’t seem to get a break and who looks like is the only vampire left in the world. This is sort of a weird season 3 what with Josh being human, Sally being a zombie and Aidan going around hungry.
But let’s get back to Sally. Her storyline is the one turning out to be the most interesting of the three. That witch Donna, seems to have held back a few things and something tells me she did this for a reason. When Trent walks through his door into Donna’s kitchen and she puts the whammy on him, I know I was not only the most surprised watching. When Trent turned into ghost dust and she started eating him and turned younger, I was in shock at the turn of events.
What is Donna’s game? And will she trick Sally into killing more people for her? And why is Sally eating so much and not filling fulfilled? Again I call zombie but apparently with a twist.
Will Aidan ever be able to eat again without the threat of being killed off? Will Nora and her new best bff be happy as wolves? And will Josh stay human? These are the big questions that are with each week.
What did you think of this episode? I give the episode 5 stars.
