Zoanette Johnson is happy to have made the top twenty on “American Idol.” Speaking out Thursday, Feb. 28, the rising star says fans can expect more strong vocals and performances on the upcoming live shows.
“I’m feeling so happy. I’m feeling so blessed and excited. I’m like wow, you get to vote for me,” Johnson shared Thursday.
Creating a unique nickname for her fans, Zoanette is looking forward to pleasing her “poohsnaps” with “crazy barbie and crazy vocalist barbie” performances.
“What’s next for me is to give them some more vocals. Give them some more crazy vocalist barbie. You heard me? Crazy barbie and crazy vocalist barbie are going to be in the building next week,” Zoanette shares in video to the left. “I hope to make my “poohsnaps” proud.”
As seen on “American Idol” Wednesday night, Zoanette gave a stirring performance that brought Nicki Minaj to tears. That performance also earned her a spot within the top twenty alongside hopefuls like Angela Miller and Amber Holcomb.
